Paragliding Courses
As with all outdoor
pursuits, we are weather dependent - we cannot be held responsible for the
weather. Any days cancelled due to weather may be rebooked without charge.
Courses run in the UK from the end of March to middle December. During
winter we teach in
Tenerife.

Syllabus
Dual Flight Voucher
Approximately 15 minutes soaring
with the British Champion Tandem Pilot
and Instructor. An ideal present!
These may be used in The UK, Tenerife,
Spain or France. After your
experience, if you decide to take a full course or a package, the voucher
will give you a £30 discount! Tandem
flights are taken on a two man Paraglider where the pilot does the flying
for you. While you are airborne you can sit back, relax and enjoy the
view. If conditions permit it may be possible for you to take the
controls. Tandem vouchers make unique gifts for someone wishing an air
experience. Tandem flights should be about 10 to 15 minutes depending on
the conditions sometimes the wind may drop in which case a couple of
flights may take place. Inclusive of BHPC day membership and third party
insurance.

Fun Day Voucher
The first day you will start with Ground training
and launch practice. Due to recent health and safety considerations we
cannot guarantee you will be sufficiently competent to undertake low level
flights by the end of the first day. Our customer feedback strongly
favours the two day course where you are likely to get a lot of flying on
your second day. However if you are really fit and able you may take
to the air at the end of the first day! After your
experience, if you decide to take a full course or a package, the voucher

Two Day Taster Voucher
If you want to try paragliding or your
giving somebody that extra special present, this is ideal.
On day
one, you
will start with a briefing, introduction to equipment followed by
simulator practice & flat ground training. This will involve starting,
steering and stopping the paraglider, without your feet leaving the
ground. Day two should see you in the air with some low level
flights no more than a few feet above the ground. As your confidence and
skill develops, you will move swiftly onto steeper slopes, where you will
gain higher altitudes. You will be in control and will go no higher than
you want to! By the end of two days students can be flying from as high as
400' although you may have more modest aspirations.
After your experience, if you decide to take a full course or a package,
the two day Voucher also carries a £60.00
value that can also be credited towards your Airborne Club Pilot
certificate. After your experience, if
you decide to take a full course or a package, the voucher will give you a
£60 discount! As
with all our courses you may spread your days out or take them all

Elementary Pilot Course
This is a serious introduction to the
sport. By the end of this 4-day course you will have attained a basic
level of competence, receive your EP Certificate, which marks the half
waypoint in the basic training syllabus. You should achieve over 20
flights. This qualifies you to go on to the club pilot course.
As with all our courses you
may spread your days out or take them all together (subject to weather).

This amazing package
includes an average of 5 days flying, and depending on your natural
ability. The package is inclusive of
Accommodation, Transport and Training. Equipment Hire (paraglider,
harness & helmet is extra but if you
buy a
new package, the
holiday cost is reduced for unlimited holidays, wherever we
go!....food and drink is not included and we normally share fuel costs.
Intermediate and Advanced
Training Holidays and Holidays to accommodate non-flying partners. A Tandem Flight with the UK Champion are
also available by prior arrangement.
