If you have booked a one or 2 day day insurance cover and the flying is cancelled by Airborne because the weather was unsuitable, we have negotiated special terms for Airborne clients. The following is the recommended procedure:

In the event of a cancelled flight the best thing for you to do is email SportsCover Direct  immediately at sales@sportscover.co.uk with a new date. This will be picked up  Monday - Friday.

Should you wish to re-book for the very next day and this falls at a weekend or bank holiday, you will need to purchase the cover again online here and they will look to refund the original insurance when they pick up the e-mail on the next working day - Monday - Friday. In this instance it would be appreciated if you send them an e-mail to confirm this action so that they are made aware of it as soon as possible.

If your date has been cancelled by Airborne due to bad weather, it's always best for you to provide new dates straight away as they cannot keep policies open indefinitely. However they do appreciate that this isn’t always possible and they will endeavour to help you as best they can.

If this is the case they will cancel and refund the policy and the same cover can be purchased again when a new date becomes available.

Sportscover Direct can change  your date free of charge 3 times. After the 4th time you will need to re-book the policy and will not be refunded for the original. They have to apply a limit on the number of times we can change jump dates free of charge because there is admin involved in this process.
