Situated in the Longdendale Valley approximately 4 miles NE of Glossop.

COMMENTS

Manchester TMA is breathing down your neck. Directly above you less than 2000' above ground level to the west, at Glossop airspace is down to the ground! In other words do not fly to the west of take off.
The terrain is rough, to say the least. Rocky, craggy and not ideal for out landings. The valley is know for severe turbulence in stronger winds and also as you go north east the valley narrows giving risk of severe rotor.
