Turn right in Whitworth by the Dog & Partridge follow road up on to the moor over cattle grid. Bear left and the hill is facing you. You can drive to base of hill and park off the track. COMMENTS This site is used extensively for training due to the abundance of slopes facing all wind directions in one location. Please allow room for beginners. If the school is using the hill, you should liaise with the CI and be on permanent radio contact. Most faces are soarable with plenty of bottom landings. Do not land in any cultivated fields, avoid livestock, which is free ranging on the moor and give way to horses that frequent the moor. Avoid moving your gliders when horses are passing. Do not drive more than 20 meters off any track. Do not park on any track There are two main parking areas, at the base of the south and east faces. Park sensibly allowing space for others
